Join Us! Why We Support the Covenant Fund

New Covenant Families,

We are David and Lindsey Budhoo, and it is such a pleasure to serve as the parent chairs of the 2026 Covenant Fund. Just like you, we have entrusted our children to a school that offers far more than a strong academic education. We have purposefully and prayerfully chosen a community that nurtures our children in their love for Jesus and their neighbors and in the many Christ-like virtues that we are called to instill in our kids. Without a doubt, that is an extraordinary gift and one worth investing in.

When we enrolled our children here 5 years ago, we recognized that NCS is a family that joins together in a partnership to point our children to Christ. As NCS’s Portrait of a Graduate describes, we desire for our children to have “Christ-like virtue, character, wisdom, knowledge, eloquence, and balance.” These aren’t just words we use—these are virtues based on Scripture that are beautifully woven into every single detail of the school. It’s obvious in how the teachers love the kids like their own, how students are taught, and how the leadership of NCS seeks God’s wisdom in guiding the school. The Covenant Fund is a vital part of making this mission feasible.

We know that every family has different circumstances, and we do realize that this requires financial sacrifice. Giving may look different from one household to another. What matters is that we recognize the opportunity we have to participate in something much bigger than ourselves. When we give, we are not simply supporting a school; we are investing in our children and the future generations of students who will come after them.

We hope that you will prayerfully consider making a gift to the Covenant Fund this year. Whether your contribution is large or small, every gift represents a family deciding to invest in the education and eternal impact of NCS. This is why we give—not out of obligation, but because we wholly believe in God’s work in and through New Covenant School.

Blessings,

David and Lindsey Budhoo
