Welcome Third Grade Teacher, Gabby Headley!

Gabby Headley is a recent Erskine College graduate who will be starting at New Covenant Grammar School this fall. She grew up in Honea Path with her two parents and brother. While at Erskine College, she met her husband, Ben, and they married in the summer of 2022. This past May, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and has recently moved to Anderson. Her husband recently began an internship at a local church in the area, and they are enjoying the community and leadership they have been able to participate in through this opportunity. Outside of school, Gabby enjoys going on walks, painting, reading, and spending time with her husband and bunny, Mr. Teddy.

During her time at Erskine, Gabby had the opportunity to learn from professors and staff who were committed to teaching and mentoring with a biblical worldview that has shaped her perspective of life in the classroom setting. She believes that teaching is a special calling from God to serve and love His children in a way that glorifies Himself. She is excited to dive into this position and see how the Lord would use her to guide and educate students through a love of learning that seeks beauty and truth.
