Welcome New K4 Teacher Kayla Herring

Kayla Herring grew up just across the river in Hartwell, Georgia with her parents and one sister. She earned her teaching degree from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia in 2007. She worked at Hartwell Elementary School for 11 years as a paraprofessional, kindergarten, and first grade teacher. She has taught the last four years at Sardis Baptist Church Preschool in Hartwell as the K4 teacher.

Mrs. Herring is married to Adam Herring who also grew up in Hartwell. They have been married almost 12 years and have one daughter, Maelee, who is five years old. The family attends Cross Roads Baptist Church in Hartwell where Mrs. Herring serves with the children’s ministry. Family is very important to her so most of the time you will find her spending time with Adam, Maelee, her parents, her sister and her family, and Adam’s family too. She loves to read a good book, go camping, and spend time baking in her kitchen.

Kayla is excited to start a new chapter in her educational career as our Cavalier K4 teacher. She loves to be able to guide young learners as they begin their educational career in both academics and most importantly as they begin their spiritual journey.
