New Covenant School’s newest faculty member, Emily Marr (left) is pictured with her three daughters and husband, Jon.

New Covenant School is excited to announce that Emily Marr has been hired as our Finance Manager/Bookkeeper.

Emily Marr is a graduate of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Originally from Spartanburg, Emily began her career in retail management, spending 5 years with Target stores. She then moved into the non-profit sector as the program director of Safe Kids Midlands out of Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital, Columbia, SC. Emily and her husband Jon moved to Anderson via a short stay in Hickory, NC in 2014. They have three daughters- Nora (4), Cecilia (2) and Clara (1).

Please help us welcome Mrs. Marr to the NCS faculty!

Star Student Nominees

For the past four years, the Anderson Independent Mail has sponsored an awards program to honor the achievements of high school juniors across the county. Students are recognized for achievement in the following areas: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Arts, Athletics, Career Education, and Community Choice. For the past three years, New Covenant School had submitted nominees for the awards. This year, we submitted nominees in 6 of the 8 categories. The nominees and winners were celebrated at an awards ceremony at the Anderson Civic Center on May 23, 2016. Congratulations to the NCS nominees!
